As I sit down to write this month’s newsletter article I begin to wonder about the strength we find as a congregation, a church, a council, a member of our community. As I gathered the information for the appraiser, I found some discrepancies in the documents. I have copied all of these for each of you. I want you to see what we as a council are seeing. Now is the time we need to gather together of strength and let the Spirit come to us as we begin to make decisions regarding these hurdles.
As a congregation together we can overcome the hurdles that we experience so that we may continue on the path of sharing our facility, continuing our outreach programs and service to the Mayfair community.
I am asking that all of you prayerfully consider our choices, pray for the council members and attend the Congregation meeting on May 8th. We all need to come together as one body to feel the great strength that his mighty hand, so that we may hold it, find strength in it and bask in his redeeming love as we move forward.
Together we can overcome any hurdles, hardships and trials that come our way as one body with the Holy Spirit guiding our decisions.
